Nancy AndersonspacerFormer CEO, Blue Vector Systems
Nancy is a graduate of the University of Texas. She began her career as a software developer and spent 25 years in various technical and management positions in high tech companies. She is a former General Manager of Hewlett Packard's Computer Systems Division and former CEO of TRADE, Inc., AudioFeast, and Blue Vector Systems. Nancy taught freshman geometry at Eastside and also started the yearbook and journalism classes.
Chris BischofspacerPrincipal, Eastside College Preparatory School
Chris is the founder and principal of Eastside College Preparatory School. He attended Stanford University and received a B.A. in history and a master's degree in education through the Stanford Teacher Education Program in 1993. He has both elementary and secondary teaching credentials from the State of California. Prior to founding Eastside, Chris spent several years teaching in the Ravenswood City School District and working with students from East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park in an after-school program he founded called Shoot for the Stars which was dedicated to helping kids reach their full academic potential.
George BischofspacerManaging Director, Meritech Capital Partners
George received his B.A. from Stanford University and his M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He joined Robertson Stephens’ technology investment banking practice in 1990, where he led portions of the firm’s eCommerce, software and hardware/systems banking practices. After working as a partner with Focus Ventures, a venture capital firm in Palo Alto for eight years, he joined Meritech Capital Partners as a Managing Director in 2008, focusing primarily on enterprise infrastructure, digital media, and technology-enabled services companies.
Janet BrownstonespacerCommunity Volunteer
Janet received her B.A. in Economics from UC Irvine, and her M.B.A. from Cornell University. She worked at Intel for 15 years in marketing and finance. Janet was President of The Priory Parent Association for two years and now sits on their Board of Trustees.
Bill ElmorespacerGeneral Partner, Foundation Capital
Bill holds a B.S.EE and M.S.EE from Purdue University. He received his M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Prior to founding Foundation Capital in 1995, Bill was a general partner at Inman & Bowman for eight years. He is currently serving on the GSB Advisory Council at Stanford Business School and on the board of several technology companies.
Rick McGearyspacerChairman, BearingPoint Inc.
Rick is a Certified Public Accountant and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University. He has been a member of the Board of BearingPoint, Inc., a global management and technology consulting company, since August 1999 and Chairman of the Board since November 2004. Rick is a director of Cisco Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, and Dionex Corporation, a manufacturer and marketer of chromatography systems for chemical analysis.
Brad O'BrienspacerPartner, Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati
Brad is a graduate of Princeton University and obtained a law degree from the UCLA School of Law. He has practiced in Silicon Valley since 1976, joining Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in 1981. Brad regularly teaches courses in commercial leasing and recent developments in real estate practice for the California Continuing Education of the Bar. He is also active in community affairs, providing pro bono representation to a variety of community organizations, including Peninsula Open Space Trust, Eastside College Preparatory School, and Ronald McDonald House.
Don VermeilspacerFormer Partner, Renco Properties
Don is a graduate of Stanford University and holds a master's degree from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford. He was a founding partner of Devcon Construction, Inc. and is a former partner with Renco Properties, Inc., a real estate development firm. He currently holds an appointment to the 12-member National Fulbright Scholarship Board.
