Eastside College Preparatory School is committed to opening new doors for low-income students historically underrepresented in higher education. In a community where just 35% of students graduate high school, Eastside was founded with the purpose of challenging students to become the first generation in their families to graduate high school and attend four-year colleges. Over 20 years later, we still believe that all students, regardless of their previous academic preparation, can succeed academically. We set high expectations for every student, followed by many layers of support. Since the first graduating class, 100% of Eastside graduates have been admitted to four-year colleges and universities.
As an independent school, Eastside does not receive state funding, nor do students pay tuition to attend. We rely entirely on the generosity of individuals and foundations to provide the funding needed for student scholarships, academic programs, and faculty support. Your gift supports critical programs such as the development of our college-preparatory curriculum, an extended school day with tutorial sessions, a residential program, summer sessions, and alumni support.
