.

While our students’ futures are shaped by their own hard work and dedication, their tuition must come from external contributions. Through the Eastside Scholarship Program, individuals, corporations, and foundations sponsor the educational endeavors of first-generation college-bound youth.

Providing a one-year scholarship for an Eastside student is $21,000. In return, scholarship sponsors receive progress reports on their student's activities and academic growth. Interested sponsors may also meet with their students on campus and attend events in which the students are involved. For some sponsors, the scholarship commitment proves to be as gratifying to them as it is crucial to the students they sponsor. It is important to note, however, that the Eastside Scholarship Program is flexible; there are no expectations for donor/student interaction, and sponsors may remain anonymous if they prefer.
