bUILDING bikes WITH vmwARE

Eastside sixth graders learned about engineering and bicycle mechanics in their first week of school. Thirty-five employees from VMware volunteered their time and expertise showing students the ins and outs of assembling a bicycle. Students and employees spread out across the soccer field and transformed boxes of parts into 22 fully functioning, 21-speed Trek mountain bikes.
